Yesterday I used my mini PC extensively. I watched few videos, coppied large files from few of my USB memmory pens to an external HDD, created several live USB sticks, etc..
I noticed the temperature went to very high degrees (hopefully arround 60-70 C to touch) while creating windows 10 boot disc. The copy speed was also very low.
Later I kept the PC switched off for a couple of hours. After that it gives a humming sound when it is switched on. It starts with pressing the power button and stops after completely shut down.
There is no performance problem, but only the hum.

Can anyone check your units and explain whether this is normal?

Thanks in advance.

Hello
In addition to making a squeaky voice, is there any other problem? This sound may be the sound produced by the current, you can try to press the button inside the reset hole for more than five seconds.

Thank you for the advice.

I pressed the green button (RTC) for more than 5 seconds while the unit is disconnected from the power. Then I connected to power again and switched on. The blue power LED was on for a couple of second and went off again. In about another second it came on again and booted to login screen.

The humming sound is still present. it is exactly like a sound coming from a leaking condenser. (current sound as you explained)

I powered the unit and the monitor with a 12v battery to make sure whether this is due to some problem in the power units. But still the sound is there.

There is no other problem. the performance is still excellent.

-Regards.
