Streaming over my LAN using the my GT1 Mini appears to be very unstable.
I use Kodi to connect over SMB to my NAS to stream video. The video stream stops intermittently and puts me back to the file list screen. I can restart the stream but I find that I have to keep restarting it.
I also use a Vbox TV gateway. With both the dedicated VBox TV app and the Kodi addon, the stream will play for a while and then freeze.
I started with the 1120N firmware and have updated to the 1140N firmware (I wiped the data and media as part of the upgrade) but the fault persists.
Other streaming services, such as Netflix and BBC iPlayer work without this disruption on the GT1 mini.
Other devices, including the Beelink MINI MXIII II that this GT1 Mini replaced, do not suffer from these problems (even when using the same LAN cable).
I'm disappointed because this seems to be a fundamental problem with the box.
