The Admins/tech support will only ask you to re-flash the firmware. as the did in my query.
I'm going to try it a few times but, they have me "updating" to firmware I already have successfully installed with no errors to rule out the possibility that it can screw up and not give any errors although I suspect they use several suppliers and some unit are simply garbage while others work as designed.
