I am trying to use a 128GB SDXC SD Card in the PC but when I plug the card in it doesn't come up.

If I look in Device Manager, I get a message "The Device Cannot Start (code 10)"

I have tried to find newer drivers but have not had any luck.

I guess the first question is; does the PC support this type of SD card?

If it doesn't, then what should I be getting?

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

I'm using a 64 GB SDXC without problems. So at least it supports SDXC and I don't understand why it wouldn't work with 128 GB.
I imagine this SD card works fine on another computer....
Have you tried through a SDXC compatible USB reader?

Unfortunately this is the only PC I have with a SD card reader so I thought I had better check first whether anyone else had got this sort of card working before investigating further.

It is interesting that the 64Gb one is fine.
I have just ordered a SDXC compatible USB reader from Amazon which will be useful to have anyway so will see how that goes.

I have now tried the card with a USB compatible reader and it works perfectly.
I also plugged the USB reader into a USB port on the BT7 and it too worked fine.

Alright. So now we know the card is fine. But the idea is to use such a card directly in the card slot and not to waste an USB port..
Have you tried the Beelink card slot again? If you still have the error in the device manager try to uninstall-reinstall?

I put the card in the Beelink slot and rebooted.

In device manager it shows the same error

I "uninstalled" them and rebooted the PC

It came back again with the same error

I unplugged the SD card and rebooted again

It comes back showing the storage controller with no errors

As soon as I plug the card in, the SD Storage Class Controller shows the same error

I don't know if it is relevant but in device manager, I see

SD Host Adaptors
- Intel SD Host Controller x3

Storage Controllers
- Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller
-- SD Storage Class Controller (with error 10)
-- SD Storage Class Controller (OK)

If I unplug the SD card, I see all the above but only one SD Storage Class Controller which is OK

I have tried a 2GB SD card (not SDXC) and it works fine.  I then unplugged that and plugged the 128GB SDXC card in and immediately got the error 10 message for the device.

I now know that:

- The 128GB SDXC card works in a different PC
- The 128GB SDXC card works in the BT 7 via a USB reader
- An ordinary SD card works fine in the SD card port on the BT 7

I am not sure what the next step should be,
