I have updated the pre-installed Kodi 16.1 to 17.1 via Playstore after uninstalling the previous version. It seems I am unable to install anything on Kodi as I constantly get a "failure to install from zip file" message. At some point I got a message saying that I had no internet connection, which wasn't the case since I was properly connected via Ethernet. I tried two builds, same result. I even installed SPMC, same thing....Can someone please help?

Try to find in Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi the folder "org.xbmc.kodi" and delete it

Thank you villasg. I found and deleted it but as I start Kodi it prompts me to "add from unknown sources" (again, as I already had done that) and then as I try to install the build I get the same message. When I close Kodi and return to the directory I find the folder reinstalled

OTA server might have been temporarily down. However, if I'd have to guess, I'd say it was your network interface becoming unstable. Try launching the browser and visit a site, does It load the site up?

Same experiences here, so Beelink OTA server is down or heavily exhausted.
