Not working for me and followed your instructions to the letter...
The file replacement went okay and the 'new' version number is reflected by that. I can't open the Play Store with the "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped" error message repeatedly popping up but if I clear the cache/data of the app, I can. Until the next reboot anyway :'(
Thanks mate, already on it! Fully updated now but problem persists... have resorted to disabling the Play Store and will enable periodically to update my apps. Annoyingly after I clear the cache/data from the app itself the problem disappears until the next restart :Q
I've just been looking at 705NO and most of the gapps stuff are outdated api 24 packages that are intended for 7.0
it should be using updated api 25 packages that are intended for 7.1
GoogleServicesFramework is api 24 this should be using the api 25 version.
its not an issue in my rom which is using correct gapps
Android 7 firmware packages, you shouldn't have this annoyance. However I'd not be surpised if you on AX12 boxes and experiencing Google Play Store issues. :P
