Can someone let me know how to get the small menu at the bottom of the screen to pop up, I saw a video that said you just move the mouse pointer as far down as possible then sharply move it up but this no longer seems to work, maybe it was changed in a firmware since.

I'm a bit OCD and it bothers me that other apps might be running in the background while running kodi, the standard kill app's button is beyond useless, im not even sure why it's there, it does nothing.

I'm currently using a 3rd party app in the notification area to kill tasks.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I use a cheap wireless mouse and drag it up from the bottom. Have not had a problem.

Ok I think I worked something out, when i move the pointer to the bottom, "Hold the left mouse button" then move up the menu seems to to pop up.

Problem solved, leaving this here for anyone else that has this issue.

It's impossible to get the menu at the bottom of screen by the IR, you can try to use one keyboard, or a wireless touchpad.

Are you using Kodi or SPMC? I'm guessing Kodi. You should try the Kodi fork SPMC. Its way better and the only way you'll play large movie files cleanly because it supports Amlogic hardware acceleration. Its available in the Play Store.

The only problem I'm currently having with it is that I can't get it to output 7.1 sound. But I couldn't with Kodi either

You are right about that! Beelink needs to fix this.
