I just purchased the MXIII II TV Box from Gearbest and Kodi v16.1 and the Backup/Update app are always crashing. I have updated the box to the latest firmware and also uninstalled and reinstalled Kodi a few times but there are still issues with it crashing. Sometimes the apps crashes even when the box boots up. Any suggestions?

I have received my minimxiii ii from Amazon. After first boot I have searched for updates and found one Ota update, with date 20161109, about 22mb. Installed and testing my new device. Ay this moment,satisfyed with this box.

what firmware is the box saying you are using now ?

Well, I don't know. Android preferences says Compilation number MINI MXIII-II_107M0, and kernel version is 3.14.29 compiled Wed Nov 9
