Hi,
I've hd my GT1 a few months and it was my first android TV box.
Since purchasing I have used it on a Samsung Smart TV with HDMI 1080p input. The android user interface is cropped at top and bottom of the screen. I have tried adjusting this and I can do a little on my TV by moving the image up or down. Using Kodi, video calibration makes Kodi work fine.
The problem is that with the android UI I don't have access to the icon bar at the bottom of the screen and there is a little chopped off the top. I can zoom out in display settings but then I have black bars at the sides of everything, including Kodi, and still do not have complete access to the top and bottom of the UI . This is useable if I just want to start kodi but a complete pain with any android app as I have bits of the UI that are inaccessible. This make the box unusable for anything but Kodi.Am I doing something stupid or is this box rubbish?

Turn off overscan in your TV (this setting is possibly called "screen fit").

Brilliant. I had a dig right down into my Picture settings on my TV.
Found  (and it was well hidden) where I had a setting that said wide zoom. Set it back to 16:9 and all is good.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I had assumed the problem was GT1 related , thankfully not. My box just got about 1000% more useful
