i'm using Logitech Unifying Receiver with wireless keyboard and mouse, i tried all USB ports at the back of Ser8 and found that all wireless signal of the Unifying Receiver is bad and making the keybard and mosue unstable.

however it is working fine with Ser8's USB port in the front. i tried two Logitech Unifying Receivers with same result.
it seems the USB shielding is not enough and making interference with the 2.4G wireless signal?

Hello there,

Sorry for the problem.

Could you please send us a picture of  SN code at the bottom of machine ?

Here are some solutions:

If the Logitech Unifying Receiver has a poor wireless signal when connected to the rear USB ports of the Ser8 but works fine with the front USB port, and you suspect USB shielding issues causing interference with the 2.4G wireless signal, here are some things you can try to change in the router to potentially improve the situation:
- **Change the Router's Channel**:
    - The 2.4G frequency band used by the Logitech Unifying Receiver and many routers can be crowded. The router might be using a channel that interferes with the Unifying Receiver's signal. You can log in to your router's settings and change the 2.4G channel to one that is less congested. For example, if it's currently on channel 6, try changing it to channel 1 or 11. This can help reduce interference between the router's signal and the Unifying Receiver.
- **Reduce Router's Transmission Power**:
    - If the router's transmission power is too high, it could be overpowering the weaker signal of the Logitech Unifying Receiver and causing interference. In the router's settings, look for an option to adjust the transmission power. Lower it slightly and see if that improves the stability of the Unifying Receiver's connection. This way, the router's signal will be less likely to disrupt the 2.4G signal of the receiver.
- **Enable or Disable Wireless Features**:
    - Some routers have features like beamforming or MU-MIMO. Try enabling or disabling these features to see if it affects the interference. Beamforming is designed to focus the wireless signal towards connected devices, and it might be interfering with the Unifying Receiver's signal. MU-MIMO allows the router to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously, and disabling it could potentially reduce interference with the receiver.
- **Update Router Firmware**:
    - Outdated router firmware can sometimes cause compatibility and interference issues. Check the router manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates. Updating the firmware can improve the router's performance, fix bugs, and potentially resolve issues related to interference with other 2.4G devices like the Logitech Unifying Receiver.

Have a nice day!

(s/n image deleted after admin seeing it)

i'm using wired network, the Logitech Unifying Receiver is a 2.4g wireless dongle for mouse and keyboard

it seems all the USB ports of ser8 are 3.0 or up, not really matched to the product description
and the Logitech Unifying Receiver is not working very well with USB 3 due to interference

Hello there,

Yes, there may be compatibility problems between Logitech and our machine. I suggest you try another brand.

Have a nice day!
