For the new patch of GTR7 , no reboot issue at the moment.
If anyone has the problem, please let us know. We will find out the problem and solve it as soon as possible.
Well, not all devices in the initial run seem to havr been affected, I'm one of the lucky ones who has (to date) no issues with reboots, hangs, fails, BSOD's or the like.
I've had my machine a couple of weeks now, GTR7 Pro. Nothing untoward has happened. I've installed multiple different Linux OS and gone back to a fresh Windows 11. Very happy that it has a digital windows license, no key required. Added a second Nvme drive. Works like a dream.
Is there a way to identify if your model is affected? I don't game much right now, mostly using it as a NAS/Plex box, but worried later I might see more reboots. I have a 7840HS model from June of this year.
3DMark benchmarks seem stable so far but I'm worried about it long term.
@support03 - if I give you a serial number or manufacture date is it possible to find out if it has bad hardware? Or I could also inspect the motherboard/etc for certain part numbers.
