Hello,
I have recently received EQ12 device and noticed that its ethernet ports are blinking even when the device is off (I assume this is due to WoL). Is there a way to turn it off for one or both of the ports so that they are completely off?
One of the ports is connected to a public network and so I would like to make sure that nothing can be sent or received on that port when the device is off.
I have tried to turn it off with “ethtool -s <port> wol d” which does not seem to work and I didn’t find any option to turn off WoL in BIOS settings. I have also tried to boot Windows and do the WoL tutorial (dr.bee-link.cn/uploads/Tutorial/Wake-on-LAN-function-tutorial_English_2024-05-23_10-32-23.jpg) in reverse but it didn’t seem to fix it.
Could you please let me know if WoL/blinking can be disabledwhen the device is off?
