I'm watching Kodi in my new Beelink GT1 TV Box Octa Core Amlogic S912, but it impossible to watch dark scenes - the brightness is too low!!
how it could be fix...
please assist

try playing a 4k video (just a few seconds) then the problem is fixed

Solving the problem with the "black screen" (black shadows or low brightness) Thank you "crazzian"  1. Download the archive h**ps://yadi.sk/d/94s27z7L33Uxuf Select any video file! 2. Rename the video file to "bootvideo"(with empty file extension). 3. Copy to Folder \ System \ etc \  Confirm the replacement if necessary 3. Expose the permissions 644 (rw-r - r--), if they are different. 4. In the file \ System \ build.prop Modify service.bootvideo = 1

Play 4K video in Kodi, outside Kodi, does it matter?
If I play 4K video from in Kodi, sound OK but video is just a solid green screen.
If I play 4K video outside Kodi all OK.

Its doesn't matter outside or inside kodi. It will fix the brightness. Its not only kodi have dark issue. The whole system have low brightness. The only reason you notice only in Kodi because kodi have dark UI.
