connecting NAS

Hi guys,

what is the best and/or the easiest way to connect the videos that I have on my NAS?
I have tried using the Kodi, video, and file location but no joy, the path I type in is correct but says action not allowed.
Does not ask for password, or any verification

On my synology nas I use Plex server, DS video (that is synology app, guess only for synology) and also I can access nas from xplore file explorer (I think other explorers will do the job).

If you have plex on NAS just instal Plex apk on GT1...
