Hi All,

I am trying to make mini PC Ser9 portable by powering with power bank.

I plug Ser9 to power bank (UGREEN 25000 mAH, 200W) out 1 put which could give 140W. I press power button on Ser9 and it manages to go into Windows logon screen. After i key in password, a few seconds later the whole Ser9 suddenly shutdown by itself.

I tried a few times result is the same. I noted from power on to windows logon screen the powe consumtion was lower than 50W. after i login with password, it jump to around 90W before suddenly shutdown. based on the power bank, it could provide up to 140W. based on Ser9 spec, the max TDP in balanced mode is 54W.

I believe it is due to the high power consumption which the power bank could not meet. my #1 question is why the power consumption difference from what posted by Ser9 website.

#2, is there any way to make the Ser9 aware that it is powered by power bank? so it could regular the power consumption?

Please help

Hello there,

Perhaps your power bank brand is not compatible with SER9

We suggest you change Lenovo's brand to try it.

Have a nice day!
