Thanks for this post, yes I thought the same about making a Windows 11 PE boot disk, and I could have done this as I have another mini-pc with Windows 11 Pro on it. I will try making a proper Windows 11 PE boot disk & let you know if this works better for doing a BIOS update. One thing I noticed is that at least two of the BIOS files were ms-dos files, so maybe they need the Windows 11 system files to work best? Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I do have two mini-pc's, one with Windows 11 & the other with Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon edition. |
