Ser7 problem interface with WD SN850

Hi All,

I has buy a new Ser 7 Basebone and configure with 32Gb DDR5 Samsung and old SSD 2TB WD SN850. Everythink ok but SSD run only at Gen 1x4 ( My SSD WD SN850 support Gen4x4).

My Ser7 SN: C7804DH80259
BIOS ver: SER7PROP5C8V37


Pls help me and show for my solution for this case.

hello, how about you put the ssd into the other ssd slot and then test it to see if the testing result will be normal. thanks

Hello Sir,

I try to install for 2nd SSD slot. Same Problem, i think my SSD (WD Black SN850 2TB) not compatible with Ser7.

I has try my WD Black SN850 (above) with old MiniPC GTR6 is normal (full speed Gen4x4)

It may be a problem of hard drive incompatibility. It is recommended that you try another hard drive, such as the Crucial brand.

I has try old SSD ( Crucial P3 Plus 1TB ) => It running normal at Gen4x4. But old SSD is cheap and not high-end same WD SN850 2TB :( => So Sad :(
