I just wanted to report that my cpu was running in the high 90c range. I removed the cooling fan and the thermal past was rock hard and had some pockets with no contact. I have put new past on and the temps are down between 15-20 degrees c.
I bought and SER7 7840HS. SER7 has liquid metal between CPU and its heatsink and an liquid metal guard tape around CPU die. I guess SER6 has save structure....
Its wired the thermal paste and it was dried-out.
