For more than a year now, when I start the PC, especially at cold boot, there is no sound from my speaker plugged on the 3.5mm audio jack on the front.

When it fails, system says that my sound card is something called IEC958 on S/PDIF, but of course there is nothing like this on the SER5.

Just rebooting and I get back my sound.

It is very annoying, I did a full CMOS clear and changed nothing inside, still happens.

It is happening in both windows or linux.

It is not a *driver* problem, it is obviously a BIOS problem.

My BIOS is V1.15_P4C7M43_Blink is there a new one?

Problem still appears, I upgraded my B I O S , clear reset C M O S , but after a cold boot there is no sound from the analog audio plug, PC thinks there is S/PDIF digital output only and the analog one does not exist
