So an update to the video issue I was having. After speaking with Beelink support over email, they wanted me to return my GTR7 to Amazon for a new one. (I am still within the 30-day return window.) But before sending my PC in for replacement, I decided to do some research. I've read online from various other users of AMD's Ryzen 7000 mobile series APUs and RDNA3 GPUs that hardware video acceleration is causing the issue. So in programs that have the video stuttering issue, if I disable GPU video hardware acceleration, the issue completely goes away. This indicates, as I had previously suspected, that the AMD adrenalin driver is probably at fault. I'm going to wait for a few more Adrenalin updates from AMD and reach out to them before replacing my unit, I've decided for now. |
