On my Beelink EQ12 PRO, use a USB fan or a USB Portable storage device to plug in it the front or back USB port. When the Win11 system is powered down, the USB power still has supply.

Can I power down the  USB port power when the system is off?  Please help me.

Thanks.

Hello there,

Thanks for your letter and sorry for the late reply.

Our machine has a wake-on-lan function, if the machine is completely powered off, this function will not work properly. Therefore, when the machine is connected to the power supply, even if it is turned off, the external interface of the machine has power.

Hope it can help you and have a nice day!

Hi,

I don't use the wake-on-lan function. How do I choose from BIOS to turn off the function, then power down the USB power?
Thanks.

The title fits my question.

Please let us know here in the forum how much power the USB ports can do max. Some USB 3.2 Gen2 SSDs require 1.5A power. Namely, I have a Samsung T7 and here the data stream breaks and I/O error occurs. In relevant forums I have read that this problem is due to too little power at the USB port.

Is it possible to increase the power output in the BIOS for the USB ports? You advertise USB 3.2 ports here, so these should also provide the necessary power. Otherwise, you have provided incorrect information on your homepage.

I have just posted a thread with the same issue and I am also waiting for reply. I do not want to keep my hard drive turned on for 24/7
