Question: Why are the USB ports upside down?

I've noticed when I received my s12 /w n95 that all the USB ports are upside down.

Then looking at pictures of your other higher-end models, they are too.
Why?

Some thumb drives do have an LED, and it's downward because of your flipped ports.
Silly.

I think it has to do with how the devices are intended to be mounted behind displays.

Have the same issue on one of my NZXT cases.
On the EQ12 the network ports are also upside down.
I think this happens when designers forget they will be flipping the pcb on installation.
