I have a SER6 6800 which frequently seems to be having trouble going into and waking up from sleep mode. I am running the preinstalled Windows 11 installation which came with the device, and I have tried adjusting the power and sleep settings within windows, (disabling hybrid sleep, turning off fast start-up, disabling usb selective suspend, etc.) but this does not seem to have affected the issue.

Frequently, but not always, the device will fail to completely enter sleep mode after the sleep button on my keyboard is pressed. The screen will turn off and the device will become unresponsive, but the fan will continue to spin loudly and the power indicator will remain constant. The device will remain in this state after leaving it overnight and it must be power cycled by holding down the power button for several seconds to regain responsiveness.

Similarly, sometimes the device will successfully enter sleep mode, but it will not wake up from keyboard commands over usb. In this state, the power icon will be pulsing as expected, but the only way to wake it back up is to manually press the power button.

Only about 50% of the time does the device enter sleep mode and wake up by pressing a key on a usb keyboard as expected. Is there anything that can be done to address these issues?

Thanks

I sent the requested information to that email, but unfortunately they just emailed me a link to the version of the BIOS which is on your support site, which I already have installed.

Any other ideas?
