GTR7 power adapter is not BIVOLT

I received my GTR7 PRO and had an unpleasant surprise.

The power adapter with the magnetic connector that they unfortunately changed from the GTR6 to the GTR7 is not bivolt.

I contacted Beelink seller and they informed that the power adapter with US plug is 100-140V in black color, and the power adapter with EU plug is 200-240V in white or black color.

No link on the official Beelink website or resellers inform that the equipment is not bivolt, they only inform the output of the power adapter is 19V. I understand that in this case it would be bivolt.

My equipment came with an EU plug with 200-240V, where I live it's 120V, I'm not using the GTR7 PRO and I'm waiting for a solution.

Did you receive the bivolt power adapter?

Do you know where I can buy the bivolt or 120V power adapter with the magnetic connector?

I can't understand why Beelik invented this GTR7 magnetic connector to make it difficult. The connector on the GTR6 and the bivolt power adapter are great, better than the GTR7. This was a wrong decision by Beelink.

Beelink, please correct the ads for the GTR7 explaining that it is not a bivolt product or send the bivolt power adapter.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE POWER ADAPTER

Beelink is not warning that the power adapter is 100-140V or 200-240V, we bought it thinking it is bivolt because nobody is informing the voltage.

Anyone using the 200-240V power adapter on 110V will not have enough power to use the GTR7 and it will cause a protection shutdown. Whoever use 100-140V power adapter on 220V will probably break the power adapter.

You are probably thinking that the problem is the GTR7 but it is actually caused by this magnetic plug power adapter that Beelink invented.

Thanks I will go and check closely my plugs because in non pro they sent me EU and with Pro they sent me US this is not good because they wanted to charge me $50 for two UK power cables when they did not supply correct plug for UK use to begin with.

Right like I said don't flood you may be partly correct but you are incorrect as well.

Techtablets channel used EU plug they are using EU supply as they should be and they had the reboots so please refrain from flooding the forum with this singular message and view.

C6 is needed to be added to bios to fix it in Windows.

However I do agree me being in the UK being sent a US plug with the wrong voltage and you being with US supply being sent an EU plug is as bad.

Making the GTR7 Pro useless becasue I need a voltage step down and you need a voltage step up, for high watt these are not cheap and not small either.

In this case we need customer services to supply us our regions plug free of charge because this makes our GTR7 Pro not fit for purpose.

I think the only 100-240V bivolt power adapter is with UK plug.

However if you are using the EU plug in UK then this won't be an issue because the voltage range is correct on the plug provided.

Chris over at Techtablets uses a EU supply and he is in Spain and the plug is EU and has the rebooting problem.

So again please avoid flooding the incorrect message that it isn't a problem with the mini pc when it is however you have brought to the attention that US plug must not be sent to UK / EU and that EU plugs must not be sent to those who need US plugs.

The power supply you pictured is what they should have sent worldwide because to change the end plug is very easy and cheap.

Quick check on line shows this is a fairly generic PSU, usually comes with a standard plug type output. So looks like Beelink have just pushed a set of the magnetic socket lines to them and replaced the standard outout cable.

Looking around it seems that it would be relatively easy to get an after market, right angle magnetic power socket with bare end cable, shorten it, fit a female connector for a standard 19V plug and use the PSU of your choice. Or, just buy a second PSU from Bee-Link....

Beelink are sending me UK one for cost of small shipping fee next week.

However the US plug I am told is 110-240v, just cannot print on the power supply because the mode made well before as 100-120v but infact is 110-240v for all power supply.

I am only passing on word for word as I was informed.
