I am trying to set the turbo ratio limits to lower values for my EQ12 Pro while running my very intense application to reduce the temputure as it stays 88-90ºC.
In the BIOS I tried to set these values.
Advanced > Power & Performance > CPU - Power Management Control > View/Configure Turbo Options > Turbo Ratio Limit Options
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio0: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio1: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio2: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio3: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio4: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio5: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio6: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio7: 30
However, the turbo ratio once running in Windows still go to their default values.
When rentering the BIOS it looks like the user set values are not being applied?
At the top current values in gray:
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio0: 38
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio1: 37
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio2: 35
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio3: 35
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio4: 33
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio5: 32
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio6: 31
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio7: 30
At botton user set values:
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio0: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio1: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio2: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio3: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio4: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio5: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio6: 30
E-Core Turbo Ratio Limit Ratio7: 30
Is there another setting required to enable/apply these values?
