Hi,

I installed Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS but the output shows only 12GB Total memory. What is occupying the remaining 4GB?

free -h
total        used        free      shared  buff/cache   available
Mem:            12Gi

I did some google search and found that the issue is related to Shared Video RAM and is controlled by UMA buffer size setting in the BIOS.

But I don't see this option under Grafix. I'm using this miniPC for a homelab and not for gaming.

How do I fix this?

You can set the memory of GPU to auto and adds a minimum of 512mb and goes up as it uses shared RAM when needed. I'm not sure on your model where exactly is the setting for GPU, maybe Support will tell us, or another user who is familiar with the path in bios.

I don’t see that setting in BIOS for this particular model. I wrote to support let’s see.

Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS -- Advanced→ADM CBS→NBIO Common options→GFX Configuration→Integrated Graphics Controller(Forces)→UMA mode(UMA SPECIFIED)→UMA Frame buffer size. Then you can set the VRAM there.
