I've been going in circles with support trying to find out why my USB-C devices are getting poor speeds in the USB4 port. Well, I figured out what the issue is by using the Windows 11 device settings page. It all came down to which way the USB-C plugs into the USB4 port. So USB-C connector can plugin to the USB4 port in either direction, right? That is another cool thing with USB-C however, the SER6 for whatever reason has the USB4 port setup where it DOES matter which way you plugin your USB-C device. If I take for instance my USB-C 3.2 flash drive and plug it into the USB4 I'll see that Windows isn't picking it up as a USB 3.0 device. Settings page says if I plug it into a USB 3.0 port it'll run faster BUT! If I flip the flash drive around and plug-in again, Windows picks the device up correctly. The the USB4 port on the SER6 isn't designed so you can plugin a USB-C device in any direction. Is this supposed to be common knowledge with a USB4 port??

Any idea why they designed it this way? Kinda defeats the purpose
