You canNOT power the PC by feeding power in the USB-C, but it can be used to power devices, maybe 1A max, I'm also using a small portable touch monitor powered by the USB-C plug and using the DisplayPort from the usb-c too.
Maybe I'm confused, but my SER 5800 (brand new) is currently powering and sending video to my portable monitor. No other connection to the monitor other than a cable from the front C port of the SER 5800. Different model maybe?
