Problems after Daydream=None

I have a MXIII-II. Under Settings>Device>Display>Daydream I set as follows: Daydream=None after 5mins and Sleep=Never.

After 5 minutes the display blanks and if I use the remote I receive a "! Camera Error Can't connect to the camera" message and also I see that the language in Settings>Prefernces>Language reverts back to "Engllish (United States) US" when I had set it to "English (United Kingdom) UK"

Most peculiarly I note that if I set the Daydream=Colours then I don't get this behaviour - however that is not what I want
