My pc does not connect well to my router. The wifi icon says the signal is strong, but websites take ages to load. Whenever i move my pc near the router, the wifi is amazing, but if i move it anywhere else away from about a 3 yard radius, the wifi will begin to lag. How to fix this?

You already fixed it, move your pc closer to the router. You could also buy an access point or range extender. The Google WIFI Mesh router package works really well.

That's not helpful. 3 yards is 10 feet. Any wifi should have much more range, if not there is a defect in either device. Try a 2.4g instead of 5g, or 5g instead of 2.4. It could be the antenna in the GTR5 isn't connected or the wifi module is defective. Get it taken care of before it's out of warranty.
