Same problems here. First update to 1.06 if you already have not done this. Go into the settings menu (Silver/Golden Cogs)->Sounds->Digital Sound-> HDMI (or Auto)
In Kodi. Go into System->Settings->Video->Acceleration. Un-tick the other two accelerators except "Allow hardware Acceleration - MediaCodec (Surface)
After that it should work. If using MX-Player, Perfect player etc. You need to user "h/w+" to get 5.1 digital sounds. Hope it helps. // Mike |
