Avoid using WLAN if possible, it has several technical limitations making it not really suitable as single interface of a hyper-visor...

On the other hand, you may get lucky as the AMD/Mediatek RZ608 inside the GTR5 5900HX does support Bridging...
As for the perfect recipe, I have no clue. I don't use Proxmox.
