usually thermal paste lasts at least a couple of years so if your pc isn't that old you should be fine.
then check task manager and listen at the motherboard/cpu fan: if you notice they're running 100% speed then new thermal paste can help

I just got my u59 pro yesterday and decided to re-paste it as a many manufacturers use thermal pads on their mini PCs.  I was glad to see proper thermal paste being used by beelink.  While its not premium paste, it does the job fine for the wattage of this device.  I ended up using some MX-4 paste (i had extra laying around) and the idle temps dropped from 60C to 58C.  If you still decide to go for it, you'll want to remove the SSD and wifi card before lifting the mainboard.  The antennas on the wifi card will get damaged otherwise.
