Just received a new SER5. The two HDMI ports seem to work fine, but the front USB-C port does not seem to display video. I've attempted to use an Anker USBC-to-HDMI adapter and an SSK port replicator with no success.

Is there some trick to use the USBC port for video?

You didn't say which SER5 you have. I have the 5600U and the one USB-C port is has is data only. I believe that the 5600H version's USB-C does provide video pass-through, though (not sure on this) I think it's DP, but DP->HDMI usually works

If you're talking about the Anker 310 USB-C Adapter (4K HDMI), it should work.

For HDMI cables:
Verify that all devices are securely attached.
Try the device with a different HDMI cable.
If possible, plug your HDMI cable directly into your devices and see if you get a stable connection.

For monitors:
Verify if the monitor is configured to the correct input.
Try the device with a different monitor.

The SER5 I have has a 5560U. The manuals say the USB-C port is video capable, but doesn't really expand on that.
The Anker adapter is:
Model Number: A8312
Anker 310 USB-C Adapter (4K HDMI)

I've also tried it with a Dell USB-C docking station and it didn't work. I've tried various 1080p and 4k monitors and cables with the same results. The monitors work on other computers using the same adapters without any problems.

I thought maybe there was a bios setting that disables usbc video, but I couldn't find anything about it.

I have asked about Anker model because it's what I'm using too i.e. Anker 310 USB-C Adapter (4K HDMI) but I have a different Mini PC (GTR5 5900HX). For me, it worked right away... nothing to change. It probably BIOS related. Keep us updated (the community here). Thanks!

I also have the SER5 5560U, and I have the same issue with no video on the USB-C port.

I have tried two different cables and 3 different monitors with no luck.

Yeah, it seems like ser5 5560u does not support usb c monitor, while ser5 5600h does seem to support usb c monitor.

I just bought the 5560u thinking it would support a monitor over usb c but I haven't been able to get it to work and now checking the Amazon product pages it seems fairly clear that it isn't supported. Bummer :/...
