Good for you.
But if your SN ends with A , this method doesn't work.

How can I tell before I buy if it will have an A at the end of the SN?  I'm looking to buy a SER5 Pro 5600h today, but auto power on is a requirement.

Are you saying there is a bug with SER5 Auto Restart IF the serial number ends with "A"?

Yes, lot's of bugs. MY SN# ends in 7 or D and it does not work on these either.
