Hello,

i got the SER4 7 4800U and did install an additional SATA Seagate 2TB ST2000LM015-2E810001.

When i wake up my pc after i put it into sleep mode over night, that SATA is no longer accessible.

i can not read or write any files until i did a restart.

after the restart everything is working fine again.
i did disable the "hdd power off" at the energy plans but no joy.

any ideas?

Hello, im sorry, but you are either mistaken or maybe i did not make my self understood, in that case Im sorry for my english.

Regarding to the pictures attached bellow, the SER4 7 4800U supports an extra second SATA Harddrive at the bottom.

And for the most time it works ok. But as i tried to explain, when i put the SER4 into S3 Sleep Mode for the night,
at the next day, when i woke up the SER4, its like that HDD had been physically removed.

Then I need to restart the PC for that HDD to be working again, which made the whole "Standby / Sleep Mode" useless.

My guess is a ACPI / AHCI Problem with the Bios

Your BIOS is the latest.
How about you try to reinstall the system?

Have you tried this Juido?  I'm curious to see if this fixes your HDD issue.  I am having issues getting my SER 4700U to boot with my Seagate 2TB 7mm 2.5" HDD.

Hi, of course i didnt try this, because its just another useless automatic respond.
The Problem is with botched up bios witch no accurate S3 support.

The Hardware is kinda decent... but the anachronistic patch bios and customer support of beelink are terrible.
