Computer Keeps Shutting Off

The PC keep randomly shutting off even while in use. It will only power back on once we unplug from the outlet and plug back in.

The power button itself (mounted on the motherboard) is may too close to the rubber pad that you press to turn the PC on.
You can loosen the screws and push the power button away from the case.

And you can remove and cleane SSD & RAM and then reinstall then correctly.

We have updated the BIOS and the issue is not resolved! What else can we do?

Please try another RAM if you have one .

I have a GK55 that I've been using since January as a Sophos firewall that this week has started to shut itself off. I sent support an e-mail with a photo of my serial number; has this issue been resolved?

Support told me:
"Could you loosen the screws on the motherboard a bit?
And could you turn off the power then remove the RAM and wipe it then reinstall it to test?
It is better to use other replacements to check, maybe the RAM is loose or damaged."

I have the same problem, the computer power turns off spontaneously. Especially when watching videos.

I suspect it started after updating BIOS and switching to Win 11.

I cleaned the RAM that didn't resolve the issue. I'm not running Windows and there's no instructions how to update the BIOS outside of Windows.
They offered to send me RAM, I just asked for a replacement power adapter.
Since I'm using this to run a firewall, my house loses internet when it turns off. I'm often not home so this is an issue.
I've stopped using the computer.

Really? So what it was is just bad power adapter?
