Hi,
I installed a Samsung 830 SSD on the SATA port, booted from USB to install Debian 11, and all went fine (non-UEFI install) all the way until the reboot. After reboot, it enters BIOS every time, and even F7 options only shows Enter Bios option only.
I have grub installed to MBR of the primary partition /dev/sda.
The Drive is detected on Port 1 in the SATA configuration in BIOS.
I tried with Secure Boot Enabled and Disabled, but no difference, it still doesn't boot.
What do I need to do to make it boot from Port 1 - SATA SSD ?
UPDATE: Installing Debian in UEFI mode allows to boot from SATA SSD.
I still need to know how to boot with non-UEFI installation though.
