Linux? Ubuntu 20?

Anyone had success installing any Linux on this, but especially Ubuntu 20?

Thanks a lot. I must confess have yet to test the audio, but as I'm using this as a headless server it's not something I'm going to unfortunately need.

Went ahead and bought it anyway, shrank disk to half in Disk Manager, downloaded Ubuntu 20 LTS desktop iso, wrote it to a USB-C stick with Rufus, reboot and press F7 for boot options, choose usb stick, Ubuntu boots and installs nicely. Reboot, hit ESC to go to Bios, change HDD boot option #1 to Ubuntu. Save and reset, reboot.

Easy experience and most amazingly everything Just Works, no problems whatsoever, listening to music on youtube now with bluetooth headphones.

Very nice mini PC. I had a very negative perception of Beelink because I bought BT7 and it wouldn't even stay up stable, just hang up randomly. Then finally it locked up and wouldn't boot anymore. Of course too late for refunds. So I had a very high bar to try another Beelink product. But this is a very positive experience on both Windows and Linux side.

I run hass on Khadas Vim1 as production server.

I have tested Manjaro Linux on GKMini, it works fine except for the audio jack as it is using intel sound card which is still not available in linux kernel. It is being worked on by the intel snd team.

Thanks for the feedback. I've also just integrated the docker side of things with my home-assistant install so i can now monitor and control the containers at will. It was surprisingly easy using http REST commands. This little machine is serving me well!

i installed Ubuntu 22.04 and audio is not working. I'm working on finding a solution but any pointers would be appreciated.

I run LINUX MINT 20.2 on my GK mini from an USB key. But I did'nt try to install it on SSD.

I run about 12 Beelinks and have ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 running on them.
