Thanks.  Downloaded SD card firmware yesterday and used Local Update to install new 914P0 firmware successfully.

Wifi connection seems the sams as far as I can tell, but my wifi was working all along.

But Kernel Panic or freeze does continue to happen on Mainline Kernel Linux..

No. My question is, how does one get the OTA update? Is it automatic? I just went to Settings > Droid Settings > .... and then searched for System Updates. But when I checked, it says I have the latest software... but my firmware is 913PO.


ANOTHER QUESTION: I am dual-booting on my Beelink box (CoreELEC and android) for some time now. Do I need to always keep the SD card in the slot? Is this the reason why I am not getting the OTA update?

Thank you. My problem is really wi-fi speed. Even if the signal is strong, the download speed is very low -- only 1.5 Mpbs... but if I use my phone on the same spot as the beelink box, I get 21 Mbps. Right now, I am using powerline ethernet adapter so that I will bypass wifi entirely.
