Hey,

I am trying to work my webcam. This webcam connects via usb for image and via 3,5mm jack for microphone input. But the webcam mic wont work on the Miiv. I tried my camera on a desktop pc and i had no problem with it, so can you please help me? What setting should i check or maybe its the drivers fault for not working with my camera?

What type of webcam are you using? We tested that the camera can be used normally, maybe you have not installed the camera driver correctly

Its an elephone ecam x. It’s supposed to be driverless. It comes with a cable with both usb and 3,5mm jack for sound. The same camera, when plugged in a tower desktop computer with the jack plugged in the pink input of the sound card, it works fine. Should the MIIV work the same way? I understand that the only 3,5 mm the MIIV has, is both input and output, so any suggestion on how to setup the Realtek settings driver? I get a “stereo mix” and two different mic inputs on my “input devices”. These are all unmuted and boosted and all sound effects are disabled and i have disabled applications to get exclusive control of devices.
I feel i have checked and tried  everything. I also got a omtp ctia adapter in case it helped - it didn't.

So, does the miiv have a mic input or a mic or something? I still havent figured out and i have to use this  otherwise great little pc, again. If i plug in a regular mobile phone headset should i get a working mic? Because i dont and i wonder if i should do something with the drivers of the sound card?

If you use your headset normally, can the microphone function be used normally?

There is a 3,5 jack input and the drivers are unchanged since buying the pc. Plugging speakers to this jack works. Plugging a mic does nothing. No app gets incoming sound, no matter what device i choose as input. Did you mean something specific?

Do you have a Bluetooth headset? Maybe the interface of this machine is not compatible with input and output functions at the same time
When you use a Bluetooth headset, can you input and output at the same time?
