Windows does not recognize hard drive

I just purchased a U-57 along with the recommended  2TB SATA hard drive.


Windows device manager recognizes it, says I have the latest driver and so on.


Windows explorer does not. Going to the BIOS there did not seem to be anything I can do there.


Please help.

Please try to format it in the disk management area, and then restart to see if it can be detected
