I would like to have the sound run to my external DAC for better sound quality. Is it possible to use the AV out port on the GT King for this? I know that toslink will work, but the toslink inputs on my DAC are already in use, I only have a coax input left. So I would like to know if AV out works for this.
What cable do I use and what audio seting on the box should ik use, PCM or SPDIF?

AV is already an analog output, so DAC cannot be connected

And the sound quality of AV will be worse than HDMI and SPDIF

We recommend that you first switch the audio settings to the AV interface, and then connect the AV interface to the L/R analog input interface of the amplifier

Does your DAC have a USB input? You can connect GT-King from there using one of its USB ports. Play music using UAPP, Onkyo HF, Neutron MP or Hiby Music (free) to directly access your DAC, bypasing the Android Sound Layer that limits sound to 24/192 max.
