Hi,

I have the GT-King B922X box with V906P0 version Android. I want to use it with external USB 3.5" HDD.
I bought WD Red 4 TB (WD40EFRX)+ WAVLINLWL-ST337 (hard case with power adapter, USB 3.0, SATA 1/2/3 HDD/SSD supportUASP). Disk was initialized as GPT. Two file system was tested ext4 and NTFS.
In both cases, the system indicated a disk problem and suggested formatting. Formatting was required regardless of the type of connection (as part of the internal memory or as an external drive). Inany case, after formatting, the system did not recognize the disk.
I tried to install a 500GB (NTFS) disk into this hard case. Disk recognized the system and could see files from HDD.

So which king of size of external HDD canbe supported this box?

What about file system NTFS or ext4 or exFAT, GPT or MBR initialization, size cluster?

Thank you an advance.

Hello,
Problems with hard disks generally have the following methods:
1, 2.5-inch hard disk (small hard disk), you need to confirm that the power can not be greater than 5W;
2. 3.5-inch hard disk (large hard disk) requires external power supply;
3. The new hard disk usually needs to be formatted to be recognized;
4. If you still can't read after formatting, try to connect the hard disk first, and then connect the machine to power on.
5. If none of the above methods work, try reinstalling the firmware, otherwise, please contact the seller to return it.
