Friends, Whem starting the GT1 with a cable network connetion, even with an active internet connetion (Kodi working with no problems), the square on the screen with Local (city) and Actual Time does not automaticaly update, keeping searching for network on and on.

With a second GT1 I have, with the very same settings and firmware as the previous one, the Local (city) and Time informatiin is stamped at once on the square on the left of the screen.

Can you help how to correct the situation?  Thank you.

You have to have a wireless connection for android to find your location.
I have gigabit internet cable plugged in GT1, but I connected it thru WiFi too, just for the location.

I noticed the same problem on MX III mini and GT1 - sometimes it does not manage to update time on boot. I use LAN, don't know if on Wi-Fi is better.
The solution is to go to settings, turn automatic time update off and then on again and it updates the time instantly. Annoying but not that big of a deal.

Hi khalid,

I have below issue, and one from forum suggestion was to enable them both wifi+LAN. Do you have any solution to my issue?

Yesterday I received my Beelink GT1 with sn: S912. I`am running latest firmware version. The box automatically connected to internet via LAN cable. I power down the item yesterday evening, and this morning I power on it, and internet connection was lost. I reconnected LAN cable, restarted the box without success. I got the internet connection after factory reset , which mean  I started from scratch to setup my box.

For me it works with both LAN and WiFi connected. After a restart I must re-enable WiFi, but otherwise this dual connection have no problem.
