Physical keyboard problem

Hello,

I'm new here. I have GT king. SN starts with B922. I have updated to 2019/10/17 version. I have connected a wireless mouse and keyboard via USB dongle. I have 2 problems:

1. The enter and "q" bug.  I've tried modifing generic.kl file to modify DPAD_CENTER to ENTER, but it doesn't modify at all even though the device is rooted. I've tried ES explorer or root explorer, but the file remains unchanged.

2. I've added another language to keyboard layout but CTRL+SPACE on the physical keyboard doesn't switch the layout. It doesn't do anything. In fact I think the CTRL key on the physical keyboard doesn't work as "command" key.

Are there any possible fixes for these issues?

Are both of those issues one bug? I'm in no hurry but is there an estimation on the next firmware update release?
