Android 9 (pie)

Hello,

I have ordered this Box (Beelink GTmini - A - 4GB RAM+32GB ROM) couple days ago and somewhere in shop comments I read that I will not be able to upgreade Andorid system from 8.1 to 9. Is there any official informations about this topic, when we can expect Pie update?

I don't think there will be a pie update for this box..at least not officially.

Then it was horrible idea to buy this box. Not sure why Beelink would not do it if box have hardware requirement. Its one of their latest boxes and its not good to leave it without support that fast.

Maybe you can return it for a refund and get the GT King instead..that box has android 9..just a suggestion.

Our GTmini-A is an Android TV system, and GT-King is a mobile version of Android. These two systems are different, so please purchase the corresponding model according to your daily use needs.:)

Thats was the answer that I have been waiting for. So I guess when Google release newer AndroidTV OS, we will get update. Thanks

Gt-mini has release android 9 firmware whose hardware is the same to gt-mini-a. So gt-mini-a will get android 9 upgrade official in the future.

Since there is Android TV 10, when will there be an update for our GT MiniA devices??????
Has this box been abandoned??
