I have a different Android box in the living room attached to a hard drive acting as a PVR with Kodi.
It is also a SAMBA server, and I can access it from any PC in my house.
Honestly I am about to send my Beelink back to Amazon and get something different if I can't get some problems resolved.
Both the Beelink box and my other one run Android 8.1. But it seems many of the apps on Google Play like Samba clients are
not compatible with the Beelink Box, and no Samba Servers are. I was originally going to use it for my main TV box until I realized
these severe limitations. No problem with these apps with my T95Q.
It just seems crippled. I can't even get it to connect to the SAMBA server as a client.
This is beyond not connecting to things like Amazon Prime which was annoying, but I could live with it.
Can't really recommend for anything but the basic functions it comes with which is a shame for the hardware it has in it.
Any help or suggestions. I am seeing when the last day I can send it back will be.
