File transfer to USB storage via network (on Mac)

Hi,

Newbie to Android TV Box here. Just got my GT1 and trying to figure out how's things work. I have connected an external HDD to the USB port. Trying to figure out how to transfer files to the USB drive via network from a Mac computer.

Thanks in advance for all the tips and help.

Hi,
You can use file manager to do so
not sure the build in file manager handles network access but ES File explorer or Astro File manager do, you can find them on the market
But this is not handy at all to do so, especially if you dont have Keyboard/mouse on the box.
I'd recommand to plug the HDD directely to the Mac, copy files and then plug it to the box...

I just solved with this app "File Explorer (PC, Mac, NAS)" Play Store

other NOT see Mac although shares in SMB

Thanks SLa & Plissken for the ideas.

I tried ES File Explorer and enabled Remote Manager. It allows access to GT1 storage via ftp. However I am unable to see or access the USB HDD attached to GT1. Did I miss any setting?
