Apple Earpods with Gemini X55

Hi

I have a Gemini X55, which is a great little pc. I wanted to know whether I should be able to use the microphone on the Apple Earpods when plugged into the microphone/earphone port on the front of the pc? I only seem to be able to hear audio but not get the microphone to work.

UPDATE: I gave up trying to get the microphone on the Apple Earpods to work to, so instead bought some Apple Airpods. After some bluetooth pairing pain - probably more an issue with Windows 10 than Beelink - I eventually got them to work and they now work flawlessly within Skype.
